Game Review: Dragon Nest

Hey guys, this is where I review about games

Just an introduction, I'm Nicholas, just an average 17 year-old who likes playing games. When I have free time, I play games. You can call it an addiction, but I call it a hobby.

Anyway back to the review, today I'll be reviewing Dragon Nest SEA!

Introduction:
The Goddess Altea, creator of the land of Alteria (Verathea in the NA version, Lagendia in the SEA version), is poisoned by her evil sister Vestinel. The poison can only be cured using an antidote made using the source of the poison itself, Vestinel's magic grail, which has disappeared somewhere within Alteria. The players as heroes of Alteria must comb the land fighting evil dragons in order to find power stones that enable them to communicate with the sleeping goddess in order to find the grail, wake her and save the world. A huge 3D world to immerse yourself in. Choose one of the (currently) 6 classes, Warrior, Cleric, Archer, Kali, Sorceress and Alchemist. It is pretty much a standard MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Role Playing Game) where players just pick a character, get levels, fight bosses etc.

However, what makes Dragon Nest a different MMORPG is that it has a rich storyline and amazing graphics. This 3D free-world MMORPG allows players to roam free and interact with other players. There is a lot of customisable features for players, from skill builds to appearance, there is just so many elements that you can change

Apart from those features already said, an "infinite-combo" system is in place in Dragon Nest. What this brings out is that, people have to dodge attacks while dealing damage and gaining combo. Skill on various characters are flashy, further showing the good graphics of the game.

As an MMO player, I feel that this game would be a good game for beginners who are new to to the MMO scene, while not overly boring for veterans to enjoy. The early levels of this game is probably one of the easiest in the MMO scene, being almost on par with the remade Maplestory level curve. Quest and party bonuses are able to boost you through levels 1 - 20 in less than 8 hours, a time that is short for a low level cap game.

No matter how good the game is, there are always weak points to point out:
From level 30 onwards, levelling would be immensely tough solo, and even all the bonuses stacked together, it would be a long time before you see the light of level 50.
The repetitiveness of an MMORPG is evident in the game, even if it's smooth sailing through the early levels.
Graphics might be too intense for older computers to play the game, even with the lowest settings.

All in all, Dragon Nest is a game that players should experience, whether they are new to the genre or veterans. With an amazing storyline and breathtaking graphics for a MMORPG, Dragon Nest will not fail to disappoint you.

Score: 7.5/10
